Forgot to enter keys manually? - ABA DSS

LOOK HERE IF YOU FORGOT HOW TO CHANGE KEYS MANUALLY.
If you can't get to the Menu screen then turn off & on the receiver from the back. Just after the ---- click on menu.

HOW TO ENTER THE KEYS FOR THE LIFETIME ULTRA.
We are not permitted to post keys.
Get keys here. "ACTIVE" are the keys you want.
1- Click MENU on the remote
2- Then side arrow to CHANNEL EDIT
3- Then down to CODE then OK then 1668 or 1010 what ever works.
4- Then side arrow to turn code OFF just to be safe.
5- Then down to NAGRAVISION then OK
6- Then side arrow to DISH NETWORK
7- You need to change the keys on two lines.
8- In PROVIDER ID it will be 00 01 so you do NOT need to change this line.
9- Then down arrow to KEY NUMBER change here XX
10- Then down arrow again to KEY, change here XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX
11- Then OK to save. Then EXIT once
12- Then side arrow once, then 1668 to turn code back ON.
Make sure your KEYCODE FUNCTION is ON. Your TV should work now after you exit out.
If your TV don't work after the above you have other problems. Make sure the dish cable on your receiver is at the IF connector NOT the ANT.
There are two kinds of remote's that I know of. Here is where the letters are on both remote's.
A - SAT
B - INFO or i
C - TV/RADIO
D - PAUSE
E - AUDIO or ?
F - GUIDE or EPG
If the keys will not stay or come out reversed, do below then put the keys in again.
HOW TO SET THE DEFAULT KEY
Click on MENU then go to CHANNEL EDIT then CODE then OK
put in 1010 or 1668 what ever works.
then down arrow to SET DEFAULT KEY and click OK then exit out.

If i am to slow entering the keys they do not seem to take. Just about anything will show up. Any way to give me more time ?

hey perezcusco I need a favor!can u tellme what's the stb model to put at fortec ultra to get download the nagra 2.(when I have to download the program ask for stb model and file bin,I got tha file bin but I 'm having problems w\the stb model #)thank's a lot

When reading how to. I am having a problem with entering the keys. Once I enter my code or 1668 I can't find the navigation bar anywhere, I feel really dumb right now but I have been up for 2 hours trying to figure it out. I have been into everything on my FortecStar Lifetime-ULTRA but I am having a hard time getting to enter the keys if you could help it was be great.

i don't have one but .. you tried the post at the top of the tread step by step if you have tried all of that then we can find some one who has one for you.. and get then to help you .. sometimes it is hard for the mods we don't and can't have all the recievers but we cover almost all of themm we wil get you some help try the top again and if not post here and i will find someone for you probably tommorrow to help you better..

can anyone help wtih the problem i am having with my FortecStar Lifetime-ULTRA i don't know how to add the new keys. can someone help??? i tried to use the Forgot to enter keys manually? but it's no working for me of i must be really dumb.. PLEASE HELP!!!
