just bought a new computer with vista on it.no com ports to hook cable to, to download. bought usb adapter and set usb to com1.hooked up and went to channelmaster and read channel list on flu and reloaded list with no problem. then tried to load 294 bin and it will not load. stays at 0% and then says error, failure to load. any help is good, so i can set sat when it goes down

did you put your old cable between the usb adapter and the box

try com 4 or 5

tried all com ports and different loaders but will not work.only channel master will work.

try going into the property settings for the comport and see if you can make xp compatible

just talked to sat dealer that i deal with and he says that there is no loader for flu that works on vista

crash and burn i guess.time to buy a new reciever
