I don't undetstand
FTA can receive channels from various satellites including Dish Network and Direct TV. Is this legal.

Receiving the signal is legal, but programming your stb to unscramble the signal via third party software isn't. Thats why I point at sat 123W or galaxy 10r. All channels are totally free and legal there.

gooly only watches the free legal fta chans, but there are people out there that pirate signals. (i read that somewhere)
