adding a new dish
Hello everybody, it's me again. I'm surprised I've made it into another week, but anyways i installed another dish. I was receiving BEV but i also would like Dish. I am getting strong signals for both, I'm using a DISEqC switch 2.0 and i installed the cables in LNB2 and LNB3 (should it be LNB1 and LNB2 or does that matter?).Both sats show up in the same ports yet in the MENU/INSTALLATION WINDOW i assigned them to PORTS 2+3.BEV i receive the same as before but when i try Dish, it says Autoroll Processing but nothing happens. P.S. In the installation menu it only has DISEqC switches 1.0 and 1.1 Can anybody give me some help please. My son wanted me to add these.

Re: adding a new dish
What sats are you looking to catch?
You mentioned you was getting Nimiq. Which sat? 82W or 91W? Which sat are you trying to pick up from DN, 110 or 119? Also what receiver do have??

Re: adding a new dish
If you already have 2 Dishes and really want to get the most out of them, I would suggest you get a setup like the one on this post....

Re: adding a new dish
thank you for the response ,just to clarify I have 2 dishes , both dishes have single LNB's with 2 outputs on each. I have a VS pro receiver and i am receiving BEV from the Nimiq 1'3 91.0 sat. My second dish is pointing to the 110w Echostar sat. I did a channel scan and received the channels for the 110w but they remain black and it keeps saying AUTOROLL PROCESSING on the sceen. Also in my antenna settings when i change the satelite to Echostar 8,10 , On the top of the sceen it still says NIMIQ 1,3 in brackets. What am i doing wrong? Could the dishes be to close together? Could the Diseqc switch be to far from the receiver? Please do not give up on me.

Re: adding a new dish
If you're getting 91W displayed when you try to set the antenna on 110, that means that your dish is not correctly aligned to the 110 sat. Use this Sat Calculator to get the correct coordinates to the sat in refference to your location. --> Dish Pointer
