i am considering getting a viewsat max hd. i am currently running a viewsat ultra.will i need to change my dish to a HD dish or will my current dish work?

your existing receiver cannot process HD channels. your new one is capable of that process. don't change your dish, because it's already picking up HD...you just didn't know that cuz you can't see it with your existing receiver.

as been stated above the dish will work but if you are on dn you may want to add another lnb for 129w
