max help

hi guys i want to do some recording with my vs max just need some info on what hard drive i need or any kind of hard drive will work and how would i do it any help will be greatly appreciate.

Hey bud i use a 8 gb usb flash drive and it works just fine able to record a decent size show wd have always been good too hope this helps..

but i want to do at lease 8 hrs of recording and also how do u record and ply back?

for 8 hrs plus i recommmend a wd external as for recording just push record button on remote (has red dot on button) not trying to be smartass ok then it will start recording as for playback just hit f3 and it takes you to dvr options there you can playback pause rewind ec.. (oh make sure you hit menu then go to multimedia go to dvr then usb storage and on first line hit remove that will aloow you ro remove hard drive safely) hope this helps you..
