vs max info
i recently sold my vs 9000 and purchased vs max i think it is a great box for anybody wondering as far as on screen display and options it is the same as the 9000 i encountered 2 minor problems when i loaded a file it would freeze after a minute when i would reboot it would show no channels even though i loaded four satellites this happend about 3 times so i did the usuals reloaded file factory default reloaded factory bin you know the routine this didnt help i reloaded and scanned then went in the menu and loaded the epg ( i know everyone seems to say put it on a certain channel but this way works fine for me) and this solved this problem it probably doesnt make sense but it worked for me also if you noticed the display is different when you push the info button (less information) go to user setting then system setting change info banner type from simple to full hope this information helps someone

Yep.
But it seems to be easy to install the module.
It'll be my christmas gift.

You can purchase it with the add on module in it (which you will need to receive hd) or you can purchase without and install it yourself as it was what i did not hard to install done in under a minute just becarefull not to bend pins or you will have problems (great receiver) good luck..
