Re: Please report your PVR results here.

I am able to record, fast forward and everything. My issue is that I can not view my files with my computer. Any ideas why?

Re: Please report your PVR results here.

I have the same issue that ARIYAHANN has. No problems with recording or playing on the system but when I try to load on my PC I have no idea what to use or how to convert the files. Any ideas out there.

The only real issue I have besides that is that the owners manual sucks. Doesn't go into the depth that I would have liked it to. It would be nice if there was a way to set a timer to record when I'm away. Heck, maybe there is a timer but I can't find it and there is nothing said about it in the manual.

Re: Please report your PVR results here.

I'm not sure about on the computer, I thought quicktime7 would play it after
it did a conversion.
now back to the HDD. I did get a 64GB flash drive but is has a problem recording.
not sure why. I think I'll return it for another one as I read on amazon of some
writing speed concerns...problems with some folks.
the thing is keep your 1 terabite HDD. I use for storage of all my movies and you
can put a couple of hundred on it. I have them sorted into catagories (folders,) like
comedy, drama and horror.......etc. you can always view them. you just can not FF
or rewind as easy. if you need to view it (FF) that way you can put any movie on to a
flash drive to view it.
I have 3 terabite drives with movies and one 750Gb.
a lot to watch when N3 is active. what do you have?

Re: Please report your PVR results here.

I tried the Toshiba MK3252GSX (320gig) Laptop HD and it didn't work, I was going to put it in a laptop I had but sold the laptop before I installed it. I now use it for storage. I had the same problem with it as the other guys, playback, FF, rewind.... I'll try smaller drives. WD seems to be okay from what I read. I tried setting up the record function like everyone else and it worked, it recorded but play back on the TV was unsucccessful.

32X with a full HD 1920X1080 would be nice.....I think I'm going to get a faster
flash drive and see.
I did a defrag to my 1tb as Zettro sugested... hmm, ok now it will FF at 32x in HD and it will go back into play mode, but... only with the factory remote!?!?! I'll try and relearn the play button on my universal later..

Big Thanks to Zettro for the simple idea.. wish i would have thought of that!
