Viewsat 9000HD Problem in getting Dish HD channels

Hi I am using Viewsat 9000HD with 8PSK module and I have also tried illuminated PSK module. Whenever I tried to turn ON my external tuner in "Menu".... I lose my satellite signal. I am totally stumped…don’t know what to do now… Any help/suggestions are really appreciated.

You have a bad 8PSK module, It happen to my receiver as well. Try getting another one or get the company that sell you the module to put in for you.

did you install the module or was it installed by your dealer?

you tried 2 different types and they dont work? do you have a cable from the 8psk module to the antenna in on the receiver?

what quality do you get before you turn on the 8psk, the quality will go down when you enable it and if its low, it may not be enough.

I installed the module per the illustrated and written instructions that came with it. It appears to be hooked up properly....so possibly I may need to purchase another one. Thanks for your help.
