PVR Question

On the VS Max, it does not look like you can record directly from the guide to record an event in the future ? It seems all I can do is hit the record button to record the show at the time you hit the button then stop it manually when it is done ? I have seen SV 360 & a CW800, both of which you could future record directly from the guide. This sems pretty barbaric if you have to start & stop your recordings manually. Maybe I am just doing something wrong.

well i do not have one butt here is something i foundtry this

while there is no actual event recording timer you can use reservation recording via guide F1. After highlighting the program you like to record in the guide hit F1 then cursor to the right or left to switch it from View to Record then select frequecy (eg. Once) and hit OK. it will then highlight that program in blue as well list it in the reservation list accessed by FAV while in guide.
