IHUB for NEWBIES-LATEST UPGRADE AND FIX
1) Just install the utility program and put the V_1_4 bin upgrade wherever you save your fixes.

http://www.abadss.com/forum/1032-sonicview-ihub-help/108646-wiz110sr-users-manual-wiznet-sonicview.html
.
2) Make sure your Ihub is plugged, STB is on,
.
3) Run the Utility program(Wiznet) on your PC(that is connected to same Network as your Ihub)
.
4) Click on Search button(when finished the empty fileds should now be full)
.
5) Click on Upload. This will open a window for you to load the .bin v_1_4 file that you saved in #1 above.
.
6) If run successfully your Picture on your TV will either freeze or disappear, that's good.
.
7) Now just load the latest fix as you would normally do(USB stick). No hard reboot is required, it will do so when the fix is finished loading.
You should have a pic after a few seconds.\

14a) Tomcat's solution to IHUB not working:
http://abadss.com/forum/1004-sonicview-general-help/109971-ihubs-not-all-working-after-update-1-4-a.html
15) I tried everything, sysclean file, factory ROM and then loading the 239, 245 bins, turning the receiver off and/on disconnecting and reconnecting the iHub for hours, but it never got recognized nor did I get ipconfig.
The only way to fix it is to do these steps:
1.) Update your iHub to version 1.4 (this works even if your iHub is not recognized).
Run WIZNet and click "Search", it will show you the IP of the iHub, mine was "192.168.11.2", the problem is that my network uses "192.168.1.*" which means you can't update it.
*The trick is to set a static IP on your computer, set one for your local network, and another like "192.168.11.50".
Find what IP address your computer currently has, and what the default gateway and subnet mask are.
For example my current computer's IP is:
IP: 192.168.1.181
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
You find this info by checking Properties under your network connections.
Remember your current IP info/write it in notepad.
Now go to the TCP/IP -> Properties of your network connection. Instead of "DHCP" choose static and set the above info.
Then inside TCP/IP Properties click "Advanced":
Click Add Under "IP Addresses":
Enter IP: 192.168.11.50
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
If you've followed this right, you will now be able to update to 1.4 through Wiznet. This example is done through XP, but can be done on any OS including Mac OS, Vista etc..
2.) Then update like all other guides describe.
3.) Load BIN 245
4.) Finally your iHub will be recognized.
I hope this helps someone as I struggled for hours with this

Re: IHUB for NEWBIES-LATEST UPGRADE AND FIX
No, it won't. Mine still says boot loader 1.00 which it should, cause you weren't updating the SV, you were updating the Ihub.
.
When updating STB it would be done with USB or Nullcable/cable, and the Boot Loader Version would change in the Version Info.
Ihub done with your PC on your home Network will not show as updated, but if you were to load an old Ihub bin it wouldn't work, cause your Ihub was upgraded to V_1_4.

Re: IHUB for NEWBIES
Zekester, when you say "Make sure DHCP is ticked off", what should be on(filled in) "static" or PPPoE? One of the three have to be filled in I believe.
