I like sonicview but ......
Lately let just say the performance is not there so I went out bought
a nfusion solaris. Trouble with sonicview, the last 3 weeks has been
like a roller coaster. Hope they can get their act together.

Re: I like sonicview but ......
Finally got nfusion going, had hell of a time to get it an IP address.
Works great, nice to see DN and bev. Got a splitter and have both
sonicview and nfusion solaris working at same time in different rooms.

Re: I like sonicview but ......
With the roll out of the 1.8 and the SV server (when it happens) there may be some significant improvements. Just have to wait and see.

Sonicview has been riding a bumpy road from the very beginning since the release of the Ihub. It has been very unstable with the up? down? and freezing issues. If these issues can be fixed with the ihub then this should help their efforts to keep pace with the others and keep this product rollin along again.
Until then it has pushed many people over to the Nfusion side of life..
I have tested the NfusionHD and Pheonix and have found both receivers to be excellent!. They are both easy to set up and operate and have one of the best "up" time's in the market.
Some have no patience for the "wait and see" game and are already enjoying the view.

Re: I like sonicview but ......
Im with you rick,
I own a nova, and as much as I said I was Po'd with the way they handled the nova, well SV was able to ease my grudge against Nfusion. I'm Irish, I hold a grudge when things really get under my skin.
Saying so, I know the way the mighty "N"s work great and SV pushed me so far away I dropped close to another 5 bills to get away from the junk, between the unit itself and the way the "official SV site" has operated and handled the situation I was more than happy to lift a middle finger and move toward the one I swore I would never support with my money again.
When it comes to being patient with SV, after as much time has gone by I believe I was more than patient with them, I will not continue to support something that doesn't work.
As for the others in the IKS game, if there was a proven solution without a dongle/adapter I probably would have given them a try instead of the nfusion, not to mention it had to be an HD box.
