Have some Sonicview questions

Well guys. I have a family member that will not jump off the sinking ship they call Sonicview. He keeps asking me questions, and I keep telling him don't hold your breath. Anyway I promised him I would post his question, incase any members have any new info on the. Here they are.
1) What is the latest on this majic board?? Was this all a B.S. rumor?
2) any news on this new secert server S.V. is testing??
3) Any new on more channels being added, or was this all B.S. rummors also.
As I already stated. I keep telling hime to move on, it's all B.S. but he refuses to let go. LOL

the majic board was a BS rumour intended to boost sales......just like the IHub.....except they actually released the IHub, as inferior as it is.....i guess i dont blame them.....i would do the same thing if i could make 80 bucks a pop.....

the problem is people buy into these things too fast before they are even working.....i think i read on here some guy bought 5 or 6 IHubs before they even started working and now he isnt using any of them......im like WTF are you thinking?

Just give up on it and don't be a fool like me, who gave them over 500.00 dollars for the ihubs, 2500.00 for receivers plus 1200.00 before that, believe me if he is your friend I can relate to his feelings, I was a heavy duty sv supporter but I changed to the nf, kb and cnx and I don't really care what they have up I am not going back, they are packed away with the coolsats good company for the coolsats and there is where they are staying, if your friend would sit down and read he would do the samething, they will never get it going. If so its going to be awhile.

Magic Board is toast ... that was a theory that never got off the ground, as the method changed mid (development) stream as far I understand it.

But version 1.8 and the new IKS server is being tested in a secret warehouse by a few 'guys' with really kewl sounding comic book names like Megatron and $%^&*() ... oh sorry part of that was VS related I'm sure ok, that's just a little bit funny ... but true none the less.

Wait and see what 1.8 and the new server brings. Until then go with the back up receiver (which is now your primary and life will remain good.

what is the current go to reciever? i am considering adding something to my lineup until SV gets going a little better. i am really dissapointed with ihub but i have too much in sv equipment to toss it all. perhaps a temporary new receiver for the main tv. who is the most promising or is the grass always greener on the other side.
