Re: Breaking News From Sonicviewusa
if anyone is experiencing any freezing at all,its on your end.try a factory default, clean sys file etc if need be.but micro freezing etc is not due to any files via 3rd party.
there are no common complaints of this at all.first time iv even heard of this actually.
as for sat file update.the one sticky posted in the 8k section is up to date.
sv's are fully supported with channel master as well.so you can change anything you want.sat names,tps,etc.etc. so don't feel limited with sonicview, your free to fully update and customize your sat files and share them with all.
(current count for remaining up through ecms via 3rd party= 12)
edit.
placed sat files in easy to see sv general downloads now.

I don't know if they have the majic board working yet, but I would say they have a big head start on n3 since they have not had to work on a fix in forever. I'm sure they haven't just been sitting on there hands this hole time! I love my premier best box I've used by far, but I'm not ready to put all my eggs in one basket. Instead I got rid of the cw800 which has also been a great box and bought a cnx nano. I mean come on cnx has been very good as well!

Re: Breaking News From Sonicviewusa
I also think it would be a good idea for an updated sat file........
I'm hoping to have a fix for the unit resetting itself on some channels that have parental controls on them. The unit (I have two and it's the same on both) resets itself after you enter the code on a channel. Not that big a deal, but a pain in the butt.
I remember in late December or early January when we were waiting for fixes to come out...... I remember being mad that all other boxes were up and running, while SV's were down for 3 or more days.
The excuse back then was they were working on an "improved" code that will minimize downtime. I thought, that's great but we can't watch TV right now...........
Now all I have to say is GREAT JOB, the 3 day wait was worth it!!!!!!

Re: Breaking News From Sonicviewusa
This is a old thread...please try and post questions like yours in something of the same subject in your own or newer thread.
Thanks
p.s. stand alone files will still be awhile away. Rumors of this and that, but nothing of any value.
