with the proven track record you can afford to be a little arrogant
although my first fta receiver was a panny and i still have it and will never get rid of it i'm fully in support of sv now that i have finally tested one
in my sig is the boxes i have personally and would not get rid of any but the sv has moved to the top of my list

The guys here that have been using Sonicview have known how great there STB's are from the beginning. I'll test them all to help our members, but when it comes to getting the best FTA, STB, on the market, it's only Sonicview for me...

SV. Has a great track record indeed! But with the uncertain future of N3 right around the corner, it's just a sales pitch to me! To be the devils advicate right now, I'll ask this question. Anyone out there that may own a Nfusion, and a Sonicview, and are watching Bev at this time. What unit are you useing, and what unit is a door stop??

Just a thought!

Sonicviewusa owes its success, more than any other reason, to the third party update fixes that made the sonicview receivers able to survive ECMs better and longer than any other FTA receivers.

On the other hand, same Sonicviewusa voids warranty (2 year - remember) for the same receivers, when programmed with the above fixes. This reduces their warranty costs to almost nothing.

Don't mention Ethics.

iv never used anything like a sonicview.
new to sv myself.i kick myself for not getting one sooner now i know.
jc said it.the others are fun to use and test to help out,
but when its time for tv,the sv gets hooked back up.

well only since its sv saying it.sv users fully understand what they mean especially the multi brand users.can't really disagree with that statement here either lol.
i know what they mean.they're right.
they are best on so many different levels.
Korean made.
still great competitive prices to even the China made stbs.
best software.
best features.
and most claim they love the 3rd party support and rank that #1 as well.everyone knows team sv is great.even if you don't have an sv,that's easy to see.

other manufacturers are behind.many of them are WAY behind imho.
i don't understand it actually.doesn't someone want to compete with sv?
i know they do.they must want to.but iv never used anything this nice.
only sv could get away with saying that.i guess that's why they did hahaha.
i don't think i would have,but i sure can't knock that statement.i understand it and agree with it here.

I think when it comes to IKS boxes, none compare to Nfusion for IKS uptime. But, to compare a stand alone STB to a IKS STB is two different worlds. If Nag 3 is not solved shortly after Charlie switches totally, i'll then hook up my Nuvenio and learn a new STB...

"At the moment" Is the key word depending on what you use the unit for. I just don't want anyone to read to much into this and run out and buy a sonicview right now, and maybe be upset 6 weeks from now.
This news came right from the sonicview site. In my opinoin it should be put into the rummors section. Where?, and Who? took this survey or poll?? With the future of n3 comming, we are going to see alot sales pitches comming. Best advice is to sit back and see what happens.
If your going to use a unit for just true fta. SV units are of very high quality for sure, with a great picture. There are how ever other units that are just as good for true fta. Coolsat, and conaxsat to me compair just as good. I'd tell someone for true fta, to shop around and see what one you can pick up the cheapest.
Bottom line is very soon. It will be what have you done for me lately for a lot of people. We'll have to see what third parties will do with these units. Sit back and enjoy until then, what ever you may have. If you do own a sonicview. You got your moneys worth for sure!!!!!!!

No doubt that the SV's have weathered the ECM storms quite well (what is the count at now ... like 21 or so?) but, I really do think a maintenance release is in order ... just to rid people of the micro-freezes and out right failures on some (an ever increasing) number of channels of late.

Not to mention its also a good time to clean up the SAT info file to reflect all of the recent changes.

Just my 2 cents worth, dont get me wrong, SV still rocks!
