Testing CNX Nano
New at this one & wonder if anybody can give a tip on remote function.
My page up/down don't work.
And how do you select a pre event?
Anybody else have this problemwith page up?
Haven't found a good guide with all the little tips needed yet.

Never heard of only one function on the remote ever failing.

Thanks Sgt!
Got the reserve ch working now.
I've seen you post before on this box...glad your around.
As for the page up/down in EPG...maybe I'm not doing the correct thing, because the CH + - toggle button works when out of EPG.
How do you do this?

Re: Testing CNX Nano
There are pagination keys on the remote.
Or otherwised called page up and page down keys.
To move page by page in the EPG ...
Is that what you are looking for ??
These are identified with up and down double arrows.
^
^
Look around the bottom of your remote, I forget, actually.

Thanks WoodCreeker!
I never would have thought to try the record functions.
CoolSat's universal remote has these same function buttons, but are not used.
Now I recall that this unit is also a PVR...so stands to reason, the buttons will function for this box.

Re: Testing CNX Nano
Just in case this helps another tester...
I figured out how to populate the EPG.
Hit EPG...now hit the red button (next to green) one time & it will jump to channel 239...hit red button again to begin a 5 min EPG download. (without loss of picture or audio via thumbnail)

If you place your CNX in standby (off via the rcu) the epg will load in the background.
I know that the unit will power itself on from standby for recording, it should for reservation also, just never tried that.
