Re: are cnx down for good?

What do you mean no new info?

1. CNX released dongles that will allow you to use IKS on CNX receivers. Only Nano for now but the rest will come.
2. They launched Nano 2.

It might be a long wait if you don't want to use IKS If that's the case, try one of the many FTA satellites available.

Re: are cnx down for good?

you need a real fta dish to get fta satallites. not a re-purposed bell or dn dish.

30" minimum depending on your location and what you are aiming at

and a standard linear LNB

Hello & welcome to ABAdss!

If you have a CNX Nano, your in luck...just get an iHub for $89. & DSL & your all set.

If you have another CNX model, you still in luck (soon) as the are releasing a 5v powered iHub for them as well.

The only other game in town right now is SonicView360 with their iHub...and kBox with their kHub.

I think nFusion with iks was working, but maybe not so good anymore. (from what I hear)

Last week CNX released the new Nano2...which has the ethernet iHub built in.
So if you don't already own a Nano, I would get the new Nano2 instead.

And I think there are some new rumors around about ViewSat releasing a iks solution soon???

Who knows...only time will tell.

Here is a link to a list of working channels currently for the CNX Nano. >>>
