cnx nano dongle
we just bought the receiver and now it says in order for it to work we need a dongle is this true. and we can not make it work
Help please

Hope you didn't get the screwgie on this purchase. You will need the dongle for it to work but don't rush out either as the server is down. Not watching too much right now, unfortunately. Oh, you will need the dongle AND access to the internet while its hooked up.

True you need a dongle & DSL modem to work.
And I hear the server went private & wants you to pay them for service???
I bought my dongle & it never worked...the unit locked up in the menu with no escape.
You can load anything via USB (even a factory repair file) but you can't get out of the menu.
So I loaded the dongle software & it turned my Nano into a doorstop. 
So the receiver is toast...the dongle is useless (never connected)...and now the server went private & wants paid. 
If I try iks again, it will be for my SV360E.

you obviously were on the ilink server?
well you didn't expect that to last did you?
considering you were using another manufacture's box on the Ilink server?
CNX dongle is not doing well at all infact it sucks at this time
CNX says they did not forsee this type of turn out but have yet to do ANYTHInG about it except buy a new sports car part like rock stars etc etc...
When they get done acting like the TV show Entourage, and if (and only if) there is any money left, they can procure the needed equipment and get to work....
at this point of time don't buy the CNX dongle it's not working

We just got it so we will send it back and get the latest and greatest LOL
But what is that??
something that you just aim and point and put in the file and it works. We have been messing with this for a 10 days and it is still sitting collecting dust because no one can help Us.
Please help if you can

nfusion has been up and running steady for many weeks now with very few hiccups. I too got burnt with the the CNX dongle purchase. I've yet to see it work. Now I haven't been trying it every day or anything.

The dongle has worked for me once (last weekend) since I bought it in June/July. There have been updates but the server is always busy or always down. Wait and see before you go out and spend another couple hundred bucks on a box seeing as you already have the CNX.

have you tried the 17 different files they've had in that time?
it's not a joke but these guys think they are funny...
they keep on coming out with file that do NOTHING but sell dongles and nano2s....
people are ignorant of the fact that these files are just ploys to get more consumers to buy crap that doesn't work

any of the nfusion products are working close to perfection....
believe me I hate the politics with the company but you can't deny that they know what they are doing with IKS....
kbox is another great box.... doesn't have the VODs but does have everything else including more internationals then any box out there
Ilink although not a normal box is great in my view for they have all the ppv sporting events...
