Dongle install?????Help ! - ABA DSS

Im having trouble with my dongle install. I loaded the new boot file, followed the instructions and when I get to the dongle upgrade part ... It wont take. It starts to download and the stalls about 1/2 way and reads"no answer" . What does that mean? Also if i check the rs232 i cant see the upgrade. Lastly when I look for the ip address, its not in there either. What gives? Help! Oh, what the hell do the lights on the dongle mean? Thanx in advance.

2 green and a yallow,,,,,,aren't they pretty, thats about it
strange we diddnt get any instructions with the dongle, huh.
that's why i returned mine for a refund, among other reasons
have fun.

Do you have the nano or the nano2?...btw the lights if they're showing green and yellow it means your network connection is good..also welcome to ABA

Yes there are instructions for the dongle and how to use it...all you have to do is look and read...if all your going to do is come around and discourage the users I suggest you find another hobby...seems to me a mod has already asked you to refrain from this

Jeff, we will be glad to help you get up on your dongle. (which, BTW is working GREAT!)

Guys I got it working. I had to undo it and retry it. Then it found itself. All is working well now, but I still have no idea what the lights are for... Also, someone told me it didnt have to be plugged in to power. I undid it and seemed to still operate, but I plugged it back in anyhows. My dongle didnt come with instructions. Just a printed sheet about installing it. Thanx guys, and I think I got a new favorite site!

Some testers will disconnect from the net until they go down & then hook up again for a packet update flash...then disconnect again.
This is not necessary if you use a vpn router with firewall protection.
