Dont know what I am doing...
*I think my settings are incorrect.. as far as my hardware I am 90% sure they are correct..
(cnx-nano)
(ELLIPTICAL-DISH 101, 110, 119)
(diseqc switch)
I have the NLB's on 119 and 110...
*Files I have downloaded and installed (In order that I installed them)
NANO_FACTORY_7[1].07.NPB setup as a bootloader
NAN_4.05.NPB setup as a s/w
0122_1121.exx I just clicked ok, it installed itself
*Under DISEqC:
DISEqC 1- DirecTV 7S 119w, 11250
DISEqC 2- Echo8/10 110W, 11250
The "meter" next to the settings says S - 5 and Q - 0
*under Channel Search:
Satellite - Echo4, 157W (but I have tried others including 110 & 110)
DISEqC - None
TP Frequency - 12224 (When I had "sattelite" on 119 and 110 It was 11250)
LNB - 11250
22KHz Tone - OFF
Multi Dish Swtich - OFF
Search options - All Channels
LNB Power - ON
*Under System Information:
SW :MV04.5CNX (Nov 19)
HW VER : 1.00
US 2.0 DRIVER : 1.00
NANO (2)
Thanks for your help...

LNB Skew [?]: 29.3°

Dish Skew [?]: 60.7°

Re: Dont know what I am doing...
Step 1: Go to dishpointer.com and verify the settings for you exact local area.
Step 2: Aim to get 110 first.
Step 3: Start by setting your Elevation (as per dishpointer's data).
Set the Elevation according to the metal marker, and NOT the 'nut'.
Step4: You'll move the dish slowly, moving in about 2 degree increments, pausing between movements for 6 seconds (to allow the LNB to catch up and take a reading).
This process may take you 10 -15 mins to complete but you'll get 110.
Make sure you Quality and Signal are both above 65 to maintain an acceptable picture (higher that that is obviously better).
Once you have 110 found you can set up your ANT settings in the receiver and do a scan ans save.
Step5: You'll have to SKEW the dish slightly to get 119, Skewing is akin to a steering wheel in a car, you will turn the dish slightly, like making a left or right hand turn until you get good readings on 119.
Once you've found it, you'll set up your ANT settings for it, scan and save.
Hope that helps,
Creative Genius

I searched for satelite and I am actually picking them up...
S is 75 - 95 Q is at 0.... I am almost there but not quite. any help?
Thank you guys so much, even though I wasted alot of time I learned alot that I wouldnt have if I wasn't forced to research it all day lol

Sorry if this was pointed out b4...I just skimmed this thread and didn't see it......Also note that unless you live in the sw USA you need to use 12239 TP to see any Quality on 119. I also never saw anything stating whether you have legacy of DP or DPP LNBs. That will make an import difference in your settings.
