Re: Nimiq1/Bev91
And no, you will not get 110/119 unless you move your dish back there. If you have a dish 500proplus like I thought you did, you get 110/119 on one of the 2 inputs and run the lnb wire from another dish to the single output on the 500, then only one wire goes to the house with all 3 sats on it

Re: Nimiq1/Bev91
My antenna settings are the same as they have been. **** im confused sorry guys. Nimiq1 I had signal of 99 and quality of 76, im not sure what happened?
In a nutshell this is what I did.
I had my SV hooked up to 119/110 on a different dish and have been watching that for a long time.
Installed a seperate dish and am trying to get Nimiq1 which I thought i had due to my s&q, so I scanned once I had good s&q pulled in 496 channels with the names of the channels. So I tuned to a bev channel and it says scrambles no service. So I went back to my settings and they are the following:
satellite=nimiq1,3
lnb type=ocsdp
lnb feq=11250
tp=12224
and I now have a signal of 99 and quality of 0
and im still able to watch channels from 119/110

Re: Nimiq1/Bev91
Something with your LNB with a 99 signal. Check your connections in and out or maybe try another lnb to see if it changes. 99 is rarely that high

Re: Nimiq1/Bev91
Ok I will BC.
Let me tell ya what i'm thinking:
mount the dish
set elevation
no need for skew(just want one bird)
tune receiver to nimiq1 under settings
tweak dish left to right or vice versa, watch signal and quality until its sufficient
then scan nimiq1(pulled in 496 channles with channel name)
Is it that simple?
One more thing, why am I still able to watch DN channels, if I might be pointed at 91)?

Re: Nimiq1/Bev91
That is a more believable signal. Any channels now, try 48 and 50

Re: Nimiq1/Bev91
Best I can do with this different LNB is 93 signal and 47 quality. I exit out of the settings screen and look to see if I have a picture and nothing there?

Re: Nimiq1/Bev91
If you have 47 quality , that is good but is that Nimiq 1 or something else.

Re: Nimiq1/Bev91
Ok I have 99S and 82Q, since I have already scanned Nimiq1, shouldnt I be able to exit out of the settings screen and now tune to a nimiq channel and get a picture?

Re: Nimiq1/Bev91
Yes, that should do it, try 400 that's TSN as I understand it. Or perhaps 2400 depending upon how you have things set up.

Re: Nimiq1/Bev91
Lets review exactly how you have your dishes wired.
You have two dishes, one dedicated to 110 and 119, and another dedicated to 91 and maybe 82 right?
Are these both Dish 500 dishes, with Dish Pro LNB's?
Explain how you have them wired to your unit (switch/port wise).

The SV im using, used to be hooked up to a different dish 500, and I was getting 110/119, i unhooked the sv and now have it hooked up to the new dish 500 with dish pro lnbs for nimiq1.
