Where to point Dish after N2 gone ?
ok, meanwhile N3 is released, which SAT location to use for true FTA from Western North America (close to Washington & BC), I mean which will give more Qty channels, since my SAT this takes 110, 118, 119 & 129 same time, anyway to point in such a way as to get more than one SAT on my Dish 1000+
Here is how my dish looks like Dish Network Dish 1000 Plus Dish1000Plus 110 118.7 119 129
Thanks

If you had the right lnb you could get 97w and 123w.

now, is Linear any different?
I have 110-118(circular)-119-129 LNBs
so I should be able to just use 119 (middle lnb) for FTA... can you confirm, do I need new hardware?

Also, are you suggesting, I can get complete range from 30w to 129w w/o moving every time after re-pointing it.

Re: Where to point Dish after N2 gone ?
Linear is different from circular, and I think you got the wrong insight on the 30 to 129, a 100 degree sat I have not seen I think they mean to hit anything in that area.

Re: Where to point Dish after N2 gone ?
This is the best question in this entire forum these days, thank you SAM.
I got the same dish as you.
Mr. Jacques d'Boeuf could you please share with us how you can get every available channel Lyngsat has listed for linear Ku from 30w to 129w? AS to the hardware required.
Thank you

OK Jacques--- now that we understand that you have conquered every available FTA transponder...........to which I pay homage, how about sharing HOW you did it with us peons.
I just busted my stump to no avail trying to get 123 using a 35.5 X 26" eliptical dish loaded with a Invacom LNB while using an Acutrac 22 Pro satellite signal sensor. ZILTCH!!!
I do not for one minute doubt your success, just want to know what you did it with.

Yes, I finally got 123 with the help of many people along with hand held instructions from Bill of Oz. Now that I understand what needs to be done, I believe Jacque's success is acheived using a motor. In any case, congrats...Jacque.
