Re: lnb skewing
Do you have the position you need to put it on or just need to skew that many degrees? Knowing the exact position would be very helpful

Re: lnb skewing
That was the hardest sat I ever had to locate. Then a hurricane took it. Got a new 39" Fortec Star dish with the Quad Invacom universal LNB. Have not been able to get it back. Your directions are correct, just take your time, move slow, confirm your antenna settings. Let us know how you do.

Re: lnb skewing
go to satfinder.com select your sat there and type your zip. It show the skew arrow
rotation left or right. if it show -36 degree and rotation arrow shows counter clock then try 90-36= 54 that should be your skew hope this work. work for me every time......... good luck

its linear....you need to skew the LNB.....
36 degrees will be 36 degrees clockwise when looking at the LNB from behind the dish.....

Re: lnb skewing
I'm also trying to get 123w so far it has eluded me!According to dishpointer for my location my settings should beDish Elevation 52.8 degAzimuth (true) 192.9 degAzimuth (magn) 181 degLNB SKEW 10.9 degSince the 10.9 skew is apparently a positive number since there was no neg in front of it then I guess I can assume from above that I would turn the LNB CLOCKWISE to 10.9?The setup has 0 in the center and goes to 40 on each side.

yes that is correct, turn it 10 degrees clockwise when looking at the LNB from behind the dish, it will be a very small amount, maybe 1/8 inch

Re: lnb skewing
when i set up my dish(30inch) i first picked up 119 with circular lnb then i connected a linear lnb lowered my elevation about 2-3 degrees.rotate your lnb like bill said and then move the dish a little to the right.i did this with a 13 inch tv a few feet away from the dish to monitor my progress.on my coolsat i went to pid and adjusted my transponder to 11800 to lock onto a good tp.once i got into the green with my signal i put alittle pressure on the dish left/right up/ down to see which way to continue.i hope this helps.
