help find sat 129 - CIEL 129
here is my problem, sorry if aleady sort posted few days go -- I have single #18 inch DTV dish that i set up to echo 5 - sat 129 bout year ago when i got my HD adaptor for sv8000 hd , worked perfect b4 the downfall / crash of normal FTA -- after buying IHUB, i hooked it up, worked okay for 119 / 110 as i have eyliptical dish for those 2 points.. my 129 #18 inch - i moved to sat 82 last week as i thought was better HD.. However i tried all weekend to put it back on ciel 129 and i cant get and Q -- all i get is S bout 60.. i found 61.5 very easy -- but cant find 129 at all.. i know i had it b4 crash about month ago -- is there anyone anything i need upload to get S and Q -- like file or something.... i got same cordinates off dishpointer and know my eleveation was same b4 i changed it to 82 -- one last point, when i put ihub on, i dont think i had Q on ciel 129 b4 i moved it to 82.. just didnt think of it
In other words, i cant get ciel 129 goin again and asking for help?

Re: help find sat 129 - CIEL 129
Use the coordinates of Dish pointer for your zip code and make very small adjustments to the left or right till you get Q. Then adjust to get maximum and lock the bolts. Then adjust very slightly the elevation up or down to get maximum on Q.
That is all. Very easy with 18" dish.
Settings:
sat 129W
Transponder 12282 or 12326
Get the 129W satellite without any switch. Cable from LNB directly to the receiver. After that you can connect to switch and set it correctly in the Antenna settings to Port 3.
Set 19W at Port 1, 110W at Port 2 and 129W at Port 3.

Re: help find sat 129 - CIEL 129
thanks Vdiddy -- if nothin was changed, i know i can get it, cause i had it for year b4 crash last week -- b4 i moved it to 82, i didnt look at dish settings so not srue if Q was there --, if that makes sense -- i jusst shoud of got it already --. . maybe its the transponder .... i'll try those tonite -- i have them goin into disq switch port 2 3 4. -- then to reciever -- which should be fine as i found 61.5 very easy -- read somewhere that in order to get 129 now u need point at 61.5 or something like that. but not sure what that means -- i'll try nice slow tonite -- just painful when keep lookin at 0 Q.. thanks

Re: help find sat 129 - CIEL 129
you should be pointing just slightly to the right of your 110/119 dish (when looking from behind the dish) and probably down a few degrees too....

Ceil2 has different transponder specs than E-5 had. Don't know what receiver you have, but, check Lyngsat.com for specs, then enter into you transponder up date menu.
