CST on dish - ABA DSS

Cox Sports TV is available on Galaxy 23 (121.0 deg W) Transponder 1. I'm in Louisiana and can't get my dish to lock in on this satellite for reception of this channel. Any help getting this channel would be greatly apperciated.

It's on C-Band and is encrypted in PowerVu. Do you have the equipment as required and a subscription?

Yes I have equipment and subscription. I have my billing address as 71055 and my service address as 70706. The service tech couldn't get in to come in either. I only list 70706 Denim Springs,La as service address to get this channel cause it is only available in 75 mile radius of New Orleans. The equipment is installed in Minden,La.(71055)

Sorry for the delay. I've been on the road between dish farms. If you have the equipment and a sub, when and how did you start having problems with 121W? Are you able to lock other sats on the extreme ends of the arc?

no I could not get locals for that area or cox sports tv seems like it could not get the satellite that broadcast these channels. I just care about getting cox sports tv on channel 421, they don't offer it unless you live in a 75 mile radius of new orleans that is why I gave them a service address that fits that rule but my address is about 350 miles from new orleans

The info you have posted so far has been a bit too vague for exacting answers, but I can tell you PowerVu encryption requires decoder hardware and activation keys that nobody seems to offer. The good news is CoxSportsTV does broadcast in the clear sometimes if you're lucky. You can confirm reception of 121W C-Band if the Jewelry Channel comes in.
