Only 110 and 119 Working....Ideas?

I installed my new dish over the weekend and was able to align it with 110w and from there found 119w but cannot lock onto any other birds and have racked my brain with this with no results so I was hoping someone can give me an idea towards this. Also I found 2 other birds with great signal but no quality so im not sure what they were. So what I am wondering is if I have 110 and 119 would it not stand to reason that it aligned properly to receive others? Maybe the motor is not skewing the LNB properly? I dunno.... Ideas?

did you align it to your true south first.
my true south is 77 degrees so I aligned mine with sat 79 AMC 5. worked perfect.
also the mast you have it on need to be perfectly straight , If not you will not get them all in.
you cant just align it to 110 or 119 and have it be accurate.
you can start on the far end and align to 61.5 then try the other end at 129.If you can get those 2 in without moving the skew and angle you are set.

Thanks for the quick reply.....Yes I did align it with true south and the mast is plumb, but I didnt try aligning it with 61 first as 91 and 110 are the strongest of where I am but I will try with 61 and 129 when the rain stops.

what kind of lnb are you using?

sorry i did not see lnb type. just do like fri said and you should be all good, you might also want to check you settings on your lnb. after that just play with it you can get some good fta stuff alot of old shows some network i think abc, fox , retro and others good luck and have fun

Turns out that I needed to align it with magnetic south and adjust the angle bracket a couple degrees as apparently Fortec dishes are not all that accurate. So now I get 82,91,110,119,129 and a couple I havent figured out yet. Now what I am wondering is why I cant save the position for 91 in my reciever? All the others work fine but it wont allow me to save 91.
