Cant See The G Brids
So I was wondering why can I pick up 61.5, 72.7, 77, 82, 91, 110, 119, and 129 but none of the Galaxy or Amc or Anik sats?

Re: Cant See The G Brids
are you using a switch (port 2 should be connected to linear on your invacom) try using this, you will need it for the galaxy sats...also, you have to be aligned virtually perfect to get the linear birds.

Yes I am using a switch and port 2 is connected to linear on the LNB and alignment seems good USAL works for every working bird I stated earlier.

Re: Cant See The G Brids
All the birds you are hitting now are circular. Circular Sats have a wider margin of error, in other words, you don't have to be "Dead On" to grab good signal and quality. With Linear birds, the difference of 1/2 a cm could make or break a Lock. Take the switch ou of the equation, run directly from Linear(invacom) to motor to STB. Using "USALS" send dish to G10 check for S/Q. if not locked, get on your roof (or to your pole) and very slowly (we're talking mm's at at time) move your entire dish East and west till you get your lock.
Linear can be a night-mare, but when you do finally get it, it's pretty satisfying, if not for the programming, simply for the fact that you nailed it and are able to view true FTA. Also, make sure your Invacom is as true as possible on it's bracket (90') the slightest variation from perpandicular, could also be the culprit... Good-Luck , and keep patient, you will eventually get them locked.

Re: Cant See The G Brids
So I Did as everyone suggested, usedd just the linear line and pointed at g10 and tried to make adjustments even tried the 22khz power but still cannot detect anything linear. Any other ideas? Is it possible the linear side of the LNB is defective?

Re: Cant See The G Brids
Well it seems to be a problem with the TP frequencies. I have located and manually entered the tp codes for Galaxy 25 and it works but havent gotten any other Galaxy birds to work yet so I am wondering if anyone knows where I can find a current list of TP frequencies other then Lyngsat.

Re: Cant See The G Brids
North & South America - LyngSat
go here and you can click on what sat you want to try only the ku band not cband
example now the first spot you will see the tp to enter 11735 then the H(for horizontal) then when you move to the right more you will see SR-FREQ SID-VPID this is what you want to enter for symbol and the 3/4 is the FEC save with auto on the nfusion and that is all you have to doo
too bad the nfusion does not have bling scan you could be done is seconds but it is a nice box still ..hope this helps
