[Help] Setting up for 110, 119 and 118.7

Hi all,

I am trying to setup the following but coming across some problems in getting all the birds I want. Here’s what I have:

nfusion solaris box
a 1000+ (wide) dish
4x4 switch
appropriate brackets and LNBs

I’m trying to get the 110, 119 and 118.7 birds. I realize for 118.7 you need a special wide dish and circular LNB which I’ve got. My brackets allow me to add a fourth LNB but for now I’m only going to work with these 3. Can someone tell me what settings (elevation, skew and azimuth) I need to have to point the dish? I know it may be a stupid question, but with 3 birds do you just find the elevation, skew, and azimuth settings for one and the other two should work anyway or is there an average you take of the three to get these values?

Also, does the order make a difference when I connect the cables to the 4x4 switch? And finally, what are the menu settings I should set in my receiver’s dish pointing screen? Thanks a lot for any help.

try locking in sats with out the 4by4 switch some switches dont work with dish lnbs you might need a dp34 or 44 switch or just a diseqc switch up to you. you might want to read the help section here there should be all the info you need there. let us know how it work out. good luck

you only need to use two lnbs to pickup all those sats....you can get 118 and 119 on the same LNB.....the 118/119 LNB must be a low freq circular LNB with an RF of 11.7-12.7.....read the label on the LNBs and see what they say.....

I would focus on 119 first others wont be far off at all. try dishpointer.com for help in elev, skew, azi. if you got the 1000.2 dish all you need is one wire running to receiver
