DN 1000.4 dish and nFusion HD antanna setitngs
Hello. I cannot get any signal to my nfusionHD stb. I have a working vip612 I am replacing. I also have the 8psk connected from the if out to the uhf remote antenna. I am connecting the sat cable to the LNB in port.
what settings in the antenna section do i need to specify? I have done research and viewed the 612's settings and found port 1 : 77 port2:72.7 port3:61.5 Thanks! |

Here is a document that will provide you with some insight:
http://www.abadss.com/forum/1005-nfu...ick-guide.html And you'll want to ensure you have a copy of this file, unzipped and loaded on your USB stick as I understand it. http://www.abadss.com/forum/1021-nfu...tml#post768443 Creative Genius

Thanks creative, I do have that bin loaded and went through the tutorial. I do not know what type of lnb i have or any other details. I think if i can get signal on a few of the sats i can take it from there. but have no idea on what i should specify to get signal. the dish is a turboHD i think it is also referenced as 1000.4
Ahy help would be greatly appreciated. thanks! |

Re: DN 1000.4 dish and nFusion HD antanna setitngs
Try setting the LNB to either Standard or if you have the option OCS-DP.
With that dish you will NOT require a desc switch, as it has a built in switch. ![]() If you have one of these in your set up - remove it. One signal line comes off the dish (only) and provides support for all of the LNB's on that dish. Creative Genius

Re: DN 1000.4 dish and nFusion HD antanna setitngs
These are used to provide signal from 3 (or 4) satellites to up to 3 receivers (specifically 77/72.7/61.5).
Using DPP44 switches you can feed many more receivers. When using DPP44s the input port is disabled and you will need to connect the LNB directly to the DPP44. DishPro Plus (DPP) LNBs are power hogs and some FTA receivers may have trouble powering it by themselves without power inserters or a sub box hooked up too. Antenna Settings ---------------- LNB Type: Single DPLNBF LO_freq: 11250 Sat 1: DiSEqC 1.0 Port 1 Sat 2: DiSEqC 1.0 Port 2 Sat 3: DiSEqC 1.0 Port 3 Sat 4 (input port): DiSEqC 1.0 Port 4 try these settings |

Re: DN 1000.4 dish and nFusion HD antanna setitngs
thanks snake. I went up on the roof to see if there were any switches/devices inline. I do have 2 612VIP receivers now. but saw just 2 cables coming from the LNB. Each going straight to the recievers with a dpPlus separator. I took the seperator off the one feed and plugged the nfusionHD directlly into the LNB IN. still get no signal. I tried connection to the 61.5w sat using dplnbf, diseqc 1.0(dp 21,34) port 1-4, legacy sw disabled, tp list? 15.12414H20000
still no signal. anything look wrong? thanks! |

Re: DN 1000.4 dish and nFusion HD antanna setitngs
As long as you have the one connection going to the 612VIP receiver and with a Separator going to the 2nd 612 receiver, those receiver will supply sufficient power to the LNB to make it work.
Connect another cable from the 2nd connection on the LNB to your NF HD Receiver. In antenna installation follow Snakebite's info. Eg: Sat....77 LNB Type - DPLNBF DiSEqC Sw - Port 1 LNB Power - ON 22KHz SW - Disable Frequency - 11250 Legacy Sw - Disable. For 72.5 - Same as above except DiSEqC Sw- Port 2 For 61.5 - Same as above except DiSEqC Sw- Port 3 Good luck. |
