Cw-4000 not booting up

I purchased 2 Cw-4000hd. 1 IS COMPLETELY FUNCTIONAL. The other one is not booting up I am getting (error 15) File Not found.

OK I figured out I need to restore the LMC but how do i do it?

redownload the file and put it back in

change Boot Sequece in booting process to boot cd first then restore with CD

yes, but now i have another issue. I am getting no signal on the box. I created a backup disk with the 1st box and then resored the second box with the disk. All settings got transferred but I am getting no signal on all channels

I have to admit I'm not to familiar with those units, I'll see what I can find out though.

I am not getting good signal. Take into consideration the satilite is fine and i have the same exact settings as the other box.....Maybe a bad box?

It may well be, I'm assuming that you got them from the same vendor? etc ...

If you unplug the one that is working from the router, will the second one (the problematic unit) smarten up?

You may have week signal in the second one cus the lnb has low amp,desconnect the other one and do the setup

the other one is not connected it is disconnected I have 1 sat, 1 wire, 1 box at a time. One of the boxes is for my fathers birthday and one is mine. Remeber 1 sat, 1 wire, 1 box at a time. I have been doing this for 3 years now. This problem is an internal issue and i do not know what to do

Ok, so to recap: With the working unit not plugged in to the router or anything else, does the second unit operate, boot, function?

Yes i got the one that wouldnt boot to boot back up after a restore. the problem now is signal
