Cw 4000hd
Does this bad boy connect to a server like the Nfusion does. Is this better, the same, or worst than the Nfusion HD. Please tell me what's the word on this & what the support is like on it.
I'm back up & running with my Nfusion Nova, just got a Nfusion SD today & will be getting me a HD FTA box as soon the dealer gets them back in. I went to get the Nfusion HD from him today but he sold the last one while I was there waiting. He then talks me into the CW 4000HD that I'd never heard of only to get me excited about & then tells me he's out of it too.
I've been out of the net for a while so I have alot to catch up on. I've read the specs on it & it sounds nice, but how does anyone like it. Is it possible the best one yet.

Re: Cw 4000hd
possibly one of the best for sure.
the reason why is this gem, like its sister before her,the 3k are full on multimedia units.
these are not standard plug and play units.
Linux based pc's really.
although they do connect to the net,for browsing web, downloading video's,and of course the list goes on and on,they do not offer iks support.
if your good with learning and or configuring Linux, network setup, etc,it could really be a fun toy.
expect to do lots of reading and research to fully setup and maximize everything this one can do.

Re: Cw 4000hd
I have one of these and have no complaints, a little tricky at first and alot to figure out. A plus to this is that cw has a sight dedicated to solving the problems people have with the 3000 and 4000.

Since it doesn't do IKS, how is the uptime on this thing & file support. Does it get affected at the same time as all the others ECMs.

Re: Cw 4000hd
usually support comes through within 2 hours latley, there was a freeze a few days back when no other cw went down but usually they hit at the same time
