Re: New Server IP With June 25 Files
Should my Local IP and Gateway settings be the same, or should they be different?

Still really sketchy on Charlie. Up and down and then sketch.
So what all did they upgrade or fix with the new bin and the new IP address???

Re: New Server IP With June 25 Files
A hit of Acid will fix the Freezing.
Trails are better than freezing, lol.
.
I'm shelving it until they fix the freezing. Unwatchable, and there is a limit to the settings changes. SO, if it's just a freezing/up issue I'll wait til they smoothen it out. Until then, I won't be posting diddly about the Ihub.

Subnet= 255.255.255.0
Gateway= (your router IP address e.g. 192.168.10.1)
Use DNS = NO
Domain Name (ignore or blank)
DNS IP = 77.93.75.89
Server Port= 1920
Serial Num= (same as before)
APPLY (make sure press)

Re: New Server IP With June 25 Files
internet download speed could definitely exasperate the issue; speed kills; or lack thereof

Whenever a web server changes its IP address like this, the change is submitted to the network of DNS computers worldwide, and it takes a while for the change to propagate to all of them -- 24 hours or more is not unusual. During the interim, DNS will be directing you to the "old" address.
I just did a quick DNS browse and it seems like the propagation is now complete, meaning that the "use DNS" option should work again.
Aren't computers just so much fun?

Re: New Server IP With June 25 Files
This sticky has to be removed. As Systemdude pointed out the propagation is complete and the DNS yes works where the DNS NO doesn't anymore.
But it's still freezing.

Re: New Server IP With June 25 Files
alright I'm going to say what is on everybody's mind, Everybody(including me) who bought the Ihub jumped the gun. Wether you admit it or not sonicview knew a lot of people were desperate for a solution to N3 and they came up with the Ihub to make some money and not loose all they invested in the company, granted there is no solution to N3 in europe and there hasn't been for a lot of years,except for IKS, but you mean to tell me that n3 really is not hackable? That is croc it's all big business, but hey at the end of the day I save money every month on internet and cable bill so it's def worth it lol. With that said just be glad that we were up for as long as we were and let's hope for the best. I'm not a view the glass half empty type person but I hate when I see these guys saying "dont worry it's just beta it's only a matter of time before they fix the freezing" when in reality they dont know that for sure and it's possible that they will never fix it. Just my view I dont mean to ramble lol.
