Re: New Server IP With June 25 Files
Correct; no need to change it, now; SV updated DNS on their end, so leave untouched;

Re: New Server IP With June 25 Files
Question - I have an SV Elite with Ihub:
Do you have to do a new sat scan after loading the new bin?

Please do the following.
- You have to use static
- Then dns NO
- Then use the new IP - 77.93.75.89
- Hit apply.
Old IP - 77.93.75.115
New IP - 77.93.75.89
Wait a bit and it will work.
end c/p
I've tested it myself and it works...still some slight freezing though on the elite.

So if I am setting up ihub for the first time then I would use these new settings instead of the original instructions?

IHUB*****
I will go ahead and apologize to all those poor souls who have this inept piece of **** called the ihub. The bottomline here is they should have never released this thing until they had all the bugs out of it. All these folks with all these problems, it' a shame that they have to go thru all this. I have had my ihub for over a week now and it's not hooked up just because everyday I sit down and read all these posts about ihub problems. And yes I realize I don't have to read them but I guess I keep hoping that something has been done to correct these b******t problems. This is just my take on it and I still think that everyone here tries to do their best to help, but it's kind of like beating a dead horse. As I said I don't mean to offend, but until they get the bugs out I guess my ihub will just collect some dust, Oh, I guess sv looks at it as partial service is better than no service at all.
Thanks for the air space!!!!

No, the channels that you already have are fine. The Ihub ony opens some of the channels VIA the SV server connection. That is, when the server is up and working right...

Re: New Server IP With June 25 Files
STATIC vs DHCP? Ur right, it shouldn't matter, you manage locally, your choice; the chatter yesterday was over the DNS server IP address change that was temporary for a few hours; sv updated the Namer Service and that change is no longer needed;

Re: New Server IP With June 25 Files
I've been trying to get mine going all week with no success... I've got the new v204(360elite) with new server IP #.. It's seems to be making connection because I get the IP config menu.. Even DLed "port foward" software to check port1920 and it's open, turned firewall off... But all I get is "no service or scrambled"..Tried bev & charlie.. I've read sereral "how to" posts".. nothing seems to help.. Right now I'm gonna try what satmaxx said.. Here are my settings, any suggestions???
Static
192.168.7.7
1920
255.255.255.0
192.168.7.1
DNS- No
77.93.75.89
1920
Ihub serial #
When I change to DNS- Yes
My DNS IP is 168.126.63.1
