yeah even if that was so,fta receivers are 100% legal.they are sold as FTA (free to air) units made for the purpose of receiving "in the clear" "open" channels.

i have bought 3 boxes off ebay now and havent had any problems yet so i wouldnt worry about it. just rumors

now plastic stuff and all that.of course thats all different.i wouldn't be buying stuff made for hacking sat signals.

I am not afraid of this. I have bought my stuff from ebay and from trusted members of other sites, and I don't worry. FTA LEGAL, that's all that matters to me. Besides what are they going to do, go to peoples houses to see if they are really using ot for FTA purposes? Relax and enjoy this community and TV.

Lets get something straight that way there are no misconceptions...watching BEV and DN are not true fta...both of those are being accessed through third party bins that you can get from many different sites online, as arbor stated plastic and is a whole different story and thats why its not discussed on this site. So inless you are watching G10 or international sats with a factory bin, then you are doing something illegal.
