Ebay Stay Away From !
This is a fact do not buy anything from EBAY they rumor has it they sell buyers information to Charlie "DN" & B3V.
ONE guys IN ny that i heard of have been served from DN after they purchased from these guy with a $10000.00 law suits.
another three guys in montreal that i heard of have been served from b2v after they purchased from these guy with a $10000.00 law suits.
So please if you can C&P this and pass it down to all sites

I had received some hear say back on the HU cards days of this but not with FTA. A FTa box is Legal is it is Used legally...

i wouldn't worry we are all testing fta channels only Besides fta units are completely legal and if they think your using them for something else they're gonna have to prove that. As far as buying from ebay its legal to purchase what they are selling. If its stollen or anything like that its got nothing to do with you.

Yep...does not make sense that DN and Bev would be foolish enough to serve papers without any proof. Anyone can show legal use after being served without proof.
I bet it is just a rumour. Would like to see someone who has been served to confirm these rumours.

I suspect its the 8PSK tuners they would want to track to protect their $60 + per month income stream from HD subs. Ebay is our source for those, dealers sell legal FTA.

Definitely sounds like BS if you ask me. Seriously, even if the rumour were true, that's only 2 cases so far. Don't you think there'd be a LOT more?
And of course, FTA boxes are perfectly legal. What you do with them is a different matter. I don't think they can charge you with anything just because you bought an FTA box. Just like they can't serve you a piracy lawsuit if you buy a dvd burner and some dvd blanks 
The only real problem with buying from ebay is clones. |

funny how people try to spin there fta purchases...if your watching tv with a third party bin then your not legally watching fta...Fta is g10. Never Ever use a credit card online to purchase items, just one big paper trail. Buying an lnb is not illegal, but buying a receiver for fta could draw attention into a heavily watched account. There has been many cases of accounts being taken over and smaller fta companies, do not be fooled...both providers are going to great lenghths to curb piracy. Just be careful and do not let others know your business.
