Receiver comparisons
anyone with experience with sonicview 4000 and cw 700s would you give me your opinion of the their strengths and weaknesses.Also which is the easiest to set up? Thanks guys .powerglide

may take a bunch of owners of each.
cw 700 plays mpeg through usb port.(pretty sure both play pics and mp3)
cw 700 you can load custom background.
cw 700 has radio artist/title info (i think sv 4k does too???)
cw 700 does NOT simply have favs in epg.kinda a bummer.(there is a workaround,tho not as good)
cw 700 can hold a file twice as large as the sv 4k can.
cw 700 has auto diseqc.
cw 700 as search by title -sv 4k have that too probably???

yeah,you can't really go wrong either way i don't think.
remotes are not known for being the best with cw.
sv is a higher quality built unit than the cw.(tho they all pretty much last well beyond the time they have 3rd party support for,so its not of to much concern,but it is true.)
i'l keep thinking of more.lol

That true th CW remotes are not friendly.They like to really push it.
