If the 14-second deconstruction of Kimbo was not enough to jeopardize EliteXC’s future, controversy has grown over whether or not Seth’s comments about “keeping the fight standing” means that Elite XC officials fixed the fight. As CBS stands back and watches this unfold we though it would be wise to go ahead and give you guys a heads up on who we think CBS will cast for their Sunday night movie special: Kimbo-Gate. You can thank us later.

Mr.Kielington - I immediately looked to Megatron for this role, with all that metal he might as well be a transformer. Too bad, CBS prolly won’t want to pay for all the CGI.
KChuck-I think this is a perfect person to play the role of Shamrock. Why no role for big brother Ken Shamrock? Well since he kinda ****ed everything up in the first place, and due to the time constraints for the movie, they decided not to even cast him in a role. Lucky for CBS they won’t have to pay Stiller that much, he’s only got like 3 lines….

What a bunch of HYPE for 2 sh!t fighters. Here's the take. The Promoters lost their main event fighter, lol(Ken Shamrock doesn't deserve a Main Card). They offer the spot to Seth and say "It's in YOUR best interest to keep it standing." That's not a fix, on such short notice, they were worried Seth would take the fight to the ground where Kimbo is a Turtle. They wanted Seth to keep it standing so Kimbo would win, they thought. BACKFIRE, but no fix, just stupid.
Tito vs Seth would be more fun to watch than Kimbo vs Anyone.

Let's see if Seth gets another fight after what he said.

My comments above were right on, not a fix but as close to one as you can get. Boy are the Exec's at EliteXC ever stupid. They'll have to change/modify their process for replacing Card fighters on short notice, lol.

Before Saturday night, the general consensus was that Shamrock’s only hope of beating Kimbo was to get the fight to the ground. For EliteXC to even suggest to Shamrock that he’d be rewarded monetarily for not doing that against their marquee fighter is as close to fight-fixing as we’ve ever seen in MMA. (If the report is true, of course.) Though it would hurt MMA’s credibility in the short-term, a criminal investigation of EliteXC would strengthen the sport in the long-term. With every unscrupulous promoter that is outed and punished, MMA moves further away from being publicly viewed as an unregulated free-for-all, and closer to being accepted as a legitimate sport.
This will hinder their chances for signing marquee fighters in the future.
The losers of UFC/WEC go to EliteXC, or they try to form their own Organization, lol.

your right zek not a fix but pretty d@mn close when they payed seth to stand up with kimbo they thought it to be a major disadvantage for seth. Anytime an arrangement is made with the understanding that it gives one fighter the upperhand is pretty much a fix but as you said man did that backfire. Anyways elite xc is a joke and this should pretty much end the carnival !! Except they did just get tito who i dont particularly care for maybe they can get seth to knock him out too before they close up shop !!

So true so true, I forgot. In fact the Women are more fun to watch in any of the Leagues that have them. The Chuck Norris World Combat League is fun to watch, no grappling allowed. The women are really tough.
