Re: What WAS your favourite TV show ever that got cancelled before its time?
I was devastated when they cancelled Riptide, The A-team, Hardcastle and McCormick, The Fallguy, Jake and the Fatman, Airwolf, Remington Steel, Hunter, Simon and Simon, Moonlighting, all great shows cut down in their prime, no final episode just replaced by another stupid show the following week. Why do you want me to remember the pain, the anguish...

It has become a way of life in K-town. Wake up, suffer, go to bed, repeat.

Re: What WAS your favourite TV show ever that got cancelled before its time?
For me it is hands down, FARSCAPE. Once Scifi was purchased, the new owner wanted programming to go in a different direction and replaced this great show with "frelling" John Edward "Crossing Over". Great fan support at least helped get a t.v. moviee ending, but this series died way too young!!

PROFIT with Adrian Pasdar, about a high powered Executive that slept in a cardboard box. Really twisted fun.

Still makes you THINK about what my friend?? Just curious.

What is it about? The final battle between Good and Evil is looming, and Ben Hawkins and Brother Justin are on a collision course that could determine the fate of the world.
CARNIVALE follows a traveling carnival as it wends its way across the Dust Bowl, focusing on Ben Hawkins, a mysterious 18-year-old fugitive with hidden talents who is taken in by the carnival, and Brother Justin, the charismatic, shadowy evangelist who will ultimately cross his path. The series takes place at a time of worldwide unrest, with evil on the rise around the globe and the Great Depression wreaking economic and social havoc here at home.
Fantastic plot! Has a bit of everything from the supernatural to historical myths (Knights of Templars, etc). It's frakking brilliant!!! Not to mention great acting! You just can't help but like the awkward Ben Hawkins while sympathizing with Brother Justin.
The reason? Budget. Apparently the show cost too much. Approximately $4 million per episode heh.
Should I still watch it knowing it's canceled? HELL YEAH! I've seen both seasons too many times and I still love it! The show still makes me think every time I rewatch it. It's incredible! Don't miss out. Just watch it!
So, what's yours?

Re: What WAS your favourite TV show ever that got cancelled before its time?
The Andy Griffith Show was mine. Several years ago I bought a limited edition print of all the characters on the show. It sold out immediately and as all collector's items should be, no more will ever be printed. I called the artist a few months back and he told me I could get $15,000 plus for it, I paid $125. UFB {unfu(kingbelievable}

Andy Griffith for me too but it should be shameful to call Mayberry RFD a spinoff...
I think a show that had MUCH potential but was cancelled by WB was Roswell, with Katherine Heigl. That was a great show with tons of fans...speedy1966

Re: What WAS your favourite TV show ever that got cancelled before its time?
What was the show about 10 years ago. It was set in the 60's. It was about alliens, and the majestic 6. The show revolved around a guy and his wife that was working for kennedy. They where investigating all this. I think it only lasted 1 season, But it was pretty good. Then again it mustn't been that good, because I can remember the name. It was something like dark skies or something like that

Re: What WAS your favourite TV show ever that got cancelled before its time?
Although it ran for quite a few years, I still think ol' Al & The Bundy's still had alotta humor left in them on Married With Children. The downfall of the show was that creepy little kid Seven.
