BL bin tivo modification request

Greeting all. I recently received a second hand tivo from a friend and would like to make use of it, but have had no luck finding a way to make it work with my 2500a. I was about to give up when I found your forum. Since Arboristman offered in an earlier post, I would like to request a tivo mod of the last working BL bin I have for the 2500 (X-87BL_070731_B75_205_api).

oh boy.a 2500 conversion bin with tivo.
that may be very hard to find lol

ok,i am not sure what bin you have there.
it has b75 in it so i assume its a modded 2700 bin for your 2500 right?

i haven't been following any of that stuff duo to lack of interest sorry lol.
i don't even know what the pTd stands for in the jvvh bins.

if that T there does not stand for tivo codes,i doubt your going to find anything sorry buddy.

Hey arbor what if he return to old boot60 and uses the 294tbin,,I heard that bin is working,,,,but I know nothing of the Tivo use with pansat

there ya go! yeah that would work then.
and heck,even if auto roll stops working on it again.you can always put keys in,and have tivo.
thats what id do.but i never cared about auto roll either.so if it gets hit again,you will have to pick what to do again lol

its really past time for an upgrade to be honest.but yeah,good point peps.that will do the trick.

Really I had unplugged the pansat and gone to dvb testing and was getting ready to buy a new box for the ole bedroom when just for fun one day I loaded the last pansat bin I had and plugged it in and behold, it worked just fine. It wouldnt roll, but like you said no big deal. Plus now either DN has just about stopped rolling keys or they have changed somehting that causes the old bin to roll again. ??

Anyway, thanks for the advice, I'll try and find that bin and give it a go.

yes ,,thers aloso a newer bin299 ,,that works the only difference is the background change on the menu setting,,compared to the 294t bin

Just got a chance to try out the old294tbin today ,and it it Autorolling for DN and BEV ,,dont know about Globecast
