Re: Windows 7
I have been using Windows 7 for a while now. ATM I am using an RC version, but I have my copies already ordered.
I really like Win XP PRO, but I will be giving it up for Windows 7.

Re: Windows 7
Wow, sure you all have your reasons, just can't believe so many folks are still using
Win., after i got turned on to Linux Ubuntu i will never go back. Using my wifes laptop
with Vista seems almost ancient now.

Ubuntu is great, pretty much bulletproof, no virus worries. If you want to build a OTA HD PVR Ubuntu and MythTv is really nice.MythTV nicest feature is automatic commercial detection and deletion.

Re: Windows 7
I've had excellent luck with Vista...but then I have mine "tweaked" JUST the way I want it....lmfao. I've also had excellent luck with XP. Never really had a bad Windows operating system. I too refuse to pay for it though....but then again I don't pay for ANY software.

Re: Windows 7
After purschasing a desktop and a laptop loaded with Vista Ultimate (just last year), I will not spend and extra $400 USD to upgraded to same in Win7.
That being said I have used a RC copy and a OEM copy of Win7 and I feel it is indeed cleaner and faster then Vista.
Offical release is Oct 22 this year so I will wait and see it MS indeed have something up their sleeves for all these pirated/cracked version floating around.
I would believe that all the Keygen floating aroung will be worthless. We will know shortly.

Re: Windows 7
windows xp pro all the way, i painstakingly reverted a vista desktop i bought recently back back to xp, man it was a pain finding drivers but it was worth it lol. I might dual boot a copy of 7 and try it but my hopes arnt to high i have a feeling its a recycled vista. I sure as heck wont pay for it, never do never will, p2p and file share all the way ill let someone else waste their money lol

Re: Windows 7
I just switched to 7 from ME and i think Me might be quicker but it crashes 3 times a day on me or i can only search EBAY for 20 minutes before it slows right down....I am happy to finally be on a computer with out it crashing.
