coolsat 4000 missing channels

my 4000 is running on 189 bin, but i am missing channels. such as espn, mtv, tnt, etc....
i tried scanning, but still missing. anything else i can do??

Need some more info Buddy. Have you checked your quality and signal strength. The quality and signal need to be above 75, higher is better. List your sat settings and what type LNB you have. If you have your settings wrong, this will cause the missed channels on the scan..

Set LNB frequency to 11250 for both, set 119 to 12239 for transponder freq, and 110 to 12224 for transponder freq. Search option to all, don't know what type LNB you have, so enter what LNB you have in LNB type, this is important, and can't tell you what diseq settings to use till I know what type LNB you have...

Glad we could help you. other members are saying freezing problem is a issue right now. It may take a new bin to fix these issues...

my CS 5000 is freezing, 4000 running fine, just the missing channels is the problem
