need help with coolsat 4000
I,m trying to load my 4000 with 2.4 loader. When I try to verify com port connection, I,m getting message to connect receiver and turn on receiver, but its already connected and turned on. In otherwards it isnt recognizing com port connection. Using null modem cable. Haven,t used this coolsat in a while. Any help much appreciated.

The cable needs to be a straight not null.

Open the loader, select the file and then after you initiate the transfer, turn the power on to the Coolsat via the rear switch right away ... it may take some timing and a few tries to get it just right, but you'll get it.

My bad- I have the pro. I can,t find original cord for this unit . Will a viewsat extreme cord work? Thanks.

Viewsat Xtreme uses a NULL cable. So the answer is unfort. NO.
