A doorstop comes alive, but which LNB setting?
For a lark I loaded the newest bin using the newer legacy 2.6 loader, hooked it up to the tv, scanned & bingo TV after about 90 seconds for the keys to roll.
Only problem is that only the Horizontal tps scanned. I have the two single legacy DN lnbs with a "Y" yoke on a DN 500 reflector with an SW21 switch.
Any suggestions??

in your antenna settings at the bottom. LEGACY SW put 110W at sw21 dish 1 and for 119w put SW21 DISH2. then scan.

Re: A doorstop comes alive, but which LNB setting?
Hey BigE,
"Standard" is not listed as an option.
I did try the SW21 using my 110 one port 1 & 119 on port 2, and then I tried 110 on 2 & 119 one 1. Same results.
So I went outside & exchanged the sw21 for a 4x1 disceq & autoscanned. I got allot more channels. My dish-to-stb set-up is less than ideal. It's more than 150 ft between my dish garden & my house. I suspect that the cable length is having something to do with my problem with using the sw21. (Both my nfuse & neo are also much happier with the disceq switches at this length also.)

I've see cable runs over 200' without any loss of Q or S up in the high 90's

Re: A doorstop comes alive, but which LNB setting?
Does your receiver have a LNB selection for Legacy? If not use Standard. You should be fine on the cable length, like side said anything under 200. Use Bigevils settings just change it for your switch.

Re: A doorstop comes alive, but which LNB setting?
Hey S-Slip,
S&Q are a separate issue than switch operation.
And Landscape,
There are legacy twins & legacy quad options on the CS4000, but all I have are legacy singles. I got my box operating on the disqeq satisfactorily. Only problem is that I will have to exchange it back for the sw21 when I have to reconnect the subbed dn stb for the cs4000.
