Leave it on Ch # 200 to roll in the keys.
But we just got hit again, so look for a new bin193 later tonight or tomorrow.
When you say "wiped clean" do you mean you did a Factory Database Reset?

Re: coolsat 4000
It appears that another ECM is being implemented.
5PM CST 01/26/09: Channels scrambled (in and out)
Wait patiently for NORW Group to release new files.

Re: coolsat 4000
press 8282 and manually install your keys. That should do it. You are waiting for a key roll over. You can also press 8282 and make all your keys 00 00 00, etc. This will help get your keys rolling faster. It may take 15-20 for your keys to roll if you do not install the latest keys yourself. Installing keys is fairly easy.

Re: coolsat 4000
Also, you want to double check your settings. After a factory default on CS 4000 you may have to re-establish the correct settings for your sats. Also, a complete rescan of your channels will be necessarry as the locations and channels and tp's have changed in the past 2 years since you used this receiver.

Re: coolsat 4000
On last thing about CS 4000. The limited memory on this unit. I usually delete all radio channels on this unit. The unit seems to struggle with the extra work load of the radio channels. After deleting the radio channels the EPG seems to work a little better. Only a little better as the EPG was never great on this unit. The EPG was greatly improved on the CS 5000, CS 6000, CS 6100, CS 7000, CS 7100, CS 8000 and CS 8100. The CS 4000 was a great receiver for its time but, the EPG was never it's strong point. The latest bin file came out about 19 to 20 hours ago. Make sure you got the latest bin installed.
