Re: Wow
Perhaps its time to invest in a unit with some support.
CS has really dropped the ball on the 4000.

P.S. It is a great unit for true fta.

Re: Wow
its because of greed. this way - you love them for the support in the past and they suck you into buying a newer model. to hell with them, time to goto Nfusion.

The coders claim they are still working on a solution for the CoolSat4000.
But IMHO I think the CS4000 lacks enought memory to handle the large size bin file required to make the box work.
The support has been good for the CS5000 and 6000 models which are also older models.
The only difference between the CS4000 and CS5000 is memory. (CS5000 & CS6000 have the same memory)
And with Nag2 ending & Nag3 just around the corner...it might be the end for the CS4000 if the new fixes get any bigger.

Re: Wow
I beg to differ. The files sizes are almost identical. Its not a qusetion of memory, its the push for them to get us to buy more.
ex: the last cs6000 file was actually 2kb smaller than the average 4000 file

i have to agree with this as the files all run 750kb,
and from looking at then i can see only one deference
the first 6 to 8 carecters ,
i beleve these identafie the box an thats all
