Her is the latest news on the cs4k from Norw.

FTA Status CS4000

As many of you read in the scrolling text on top of the forum, the 4000 is being worked on. While that is not the answer you would like to read, that is the truthful status of this receiver. I too would much rather type that the “4000 file is in”, but currently that is not the case.

Discussion of the 4000 has been limited on this site of lately and many posts deleted and members that have broken the site rules have been banned. Some banned temporarily, others permanently. It’s unfortunate that every time a 4000 discussion thread is opened many members see this as an opportunity to bash or provide completely inaccurate information. We will not dedicate all the moderators time to one discussion thread as this limits the help we can give to the rest of the members with other receivers. This is a Technical Support and Discussion site not a place to vent frustration or hostilities. We appreciate those that are waiting patiently for the release of the new file.

The delay in release is of technical nature. It has nothing to do with money as many have stated. It has nothing to do with anyone wanting you to buy new receivers. It is just technical; when it is ready it will be released.
