Help needed!! Get no channel - ABA DSS

Hi,

I am fresh new in FTA, just got a second hand Coolsat 5000 yesterday, after connecting the dish to my receiver, and do the auto scan for Galaxy 3c, the level is about 90 %, but quality is below 10% for all channel, Does anyone know what happened. I did not loading the new bin file those stuff, just use the old setting in the receiver, do I need to load a new bin file ? Thanks for your help!!!

Hello & welcome to ABAdss!

Sorry to see this my friend...somebody was taking advantage of you when they sold that unit to you...it's been a doorstop for quite a while now.

It will get some true FTA sats, but the most popular are gone now. (use the blind scan feature to find birds)

You can put it on DN 110 & 119 and get about 3 channels for testing.

However, don't give up completely, as we might see some new stand alone files for the CoolSats before long. (if one is to believe any of the rumors floating around these days)

Lots of information here for you, so I suggest you begin reading to see what is happening right now & with what receivers.

cailuqin try to see if you can try to get your money back because the person that sold you this unit they knew that coolsat has been out for sometime now and the chances of coming back we just don’t know... my opinion I don’t think they’ll be back

Hi cailuqin, my english is not very good ok, if the level of quality in you Coolsat 5000 is below 10% for all channel, i think is the lnb skew, cheek too the right azimuth, becouse if don´st work, you don´t have 10% quality in your coolsat
