CoolSat 5K dwindling hope - ABA DSS

I, like most owners are glued to this site before work each day - glimpse while at work and immediately after until bedtime. It is not that we don't have lives, but tv is a staple in the homes. I myself bought the C.sat 5K and like most good things, my family became addicted. I was a bigger hero, providing the latest in modern tv. However, this long span of bin-less support really is depressing. I do not know of GH's reputation, but really he has credentials on the site. I took his advice and waited, but nothing yet. I am patient but would like periodic updates if someone has some news - good or bad.
I think that saying that we should keep purchasing newer boxes is not good. It may be reality though. This is not good for the market either, because people lose confidence and do not have the money to take the risk.

I have a C.sat 5k and local channel cable with superchannels. I miss my news stations. Any new news?

c and p from norw home site yesterday
3 different groups of coolsat boxs with 3 different compilers that are controlled by those groups. CS4/5/6 group if in Europe at the moment but should be back today or tomorrow. Not making excuses just letting you know.

Do you mean the whole Coolsat 5K nation is dependent on this small contingent? I know Norw is the the mecca, but are they the only ones to do it? I do appreciate the info. It helps.

Buy another brand and you won't be dependent "on this small contingent". CW700 is inexpensive with great support. I hate to say this but it's time to move on.

The thing that everyone's trying to say, is what happens when the new boxes become old, do we just keep up gradeing while collecting boxes that no one can use, to me that's a waist!

I just talked to the 4,5,and 6 crew from NORW and they just now got home frome europe, so the fix should be out any min. 9:20pm

the thing is no one knows went were or what and i know what are you saying belive me i know .... theres nothing at this time no one can do to fix this not even the best coder can fix this problems ..... some people thing because they pay they have the rith to say things they are not good.... grass is verry good guy he helps 95% on this side .... end we do to please dont say things dit we dont whant to say ..........i can not say sorry because this is a hobby

NORW Group does not communicate with anyone. You are being.....duped! They cannot speak English!

It is now 5 days since NORW Group released several working bins for the CS units with high resale value. The 4000's, 5000's, and 6000's are going on eBay for under $30. Why on earth would anyone support a $30 machine?

Racketeering is the answer. Gee, let's buy into that system again.

The fact is that NORW Group, who has complained about the CS complainants has instituted a policy of retaliation against the foundation of their enterprise....the original CS investors, by deliberately withholding the bin releases for the 4000's, 5000's, and 6000's. Do you really want to do business with the racketeers any further?

It is getting real annoying of all the put downs and complaining going on... THIS IS A HOBBY!!! If TV 24-7 is what you are looking for, BUY A SUB!!!! Pretty simple folks!!! If you are in this for free tv and free tv only, you are in the wrong hobby... You spend $100.00 on a receiver and watch tv for a month wide open, you made your money back and more...
