It looks like the Coolsat dudes think we are only good enough for every other time. The last update came at the same time as the 7000's and others and the time before that we waited like two weeks. Well it looks like another ride on screw you express. The only possible conclusion I can figure out is that it's on purpose. What sence that makes I don't know but they simply can't be that unable or that lazy. I had read a reply from Coolsat that corrected the story of them dropping the support of the 4000, 5000 and 6000 they said it wasn't true and they would be further support for these receivers. What they didn't say is what kind of support. I refuse to believe that they think this is good enough but appariently they do. I don't call it support at all when the reciever is down for a longer time than it is up. I think they have already dug thier own grave and if they haven't they should get thier act together or get left in the dust.

tnc, is correct. If you find that your current stb, doesn't have the support the other stb has, get another. And yes, i know money doesn't grow on trees, but what else can you do.....sounding off, won't get you a fix faster.

I don't see how any of us can complain about coders speed in releasing fixes. You should always have a subscription with somebody and be using your FTA box as backup...then it is a hobby. Also if coolsat is truly going to release IKS support for the lower 4000 to 6000 models then you should be rejoicing in there greatness right ?

AMEN! During the two week period I read posts Whining and Complaining about people who are doing them a service at no cost to them. Then when a fix came out, no where near the same amt. of posts saying thank you or even sorry for being a self centered jerk.
Due to financial reasons I am stuck with a CS 4K. I muddled through with a pair of rabbit ears and managed to get some things done around here that had been neglected. It seemed to me that anyone majoring in Psych. it would make a very interesting paper. Maybe good for an A+

Here we go again? Is this going to be another complaining thread?
When the new plasma/LCD TV's came out how many of you thrashed that big bulky box you called your tv? When DVD came to the market who thrashed the VHS player? How about the CD, who thrashed the cassette player? When it comes to electronics this "game" is no different. Sometimes you just gotta get rid of the old and make room for the new. With the exception of the wife of course.
