I used to own 2 CS5k's I sold one 6 mnths ago and bought a VS Pro.
Last night decided to throw the other one in the garbage and bought the Viewsat Ultra.

That being said, I see no reason why I will visit the coolsat forms anymore. So I guess this is a goodbye

did u get yours at a local store or Web site? any recommendation in term of buying from local store or Web? any preferred Web sites? Thx

I bought it from a local guy I know. I dont think it matters where you buy it from as long as you can guarantee that it's not clone.

It's too bad you reacted so quickly on the CS5000. After I bought me Viewsat, I filled my old CS5000 with cement and tied a chain and balloon to it and used it to mark my favorite fishing spot.

It now functions as good as it ever did!

dont throw out coolsat just smash it in pueaces and mail it back to coolsat say thank u very much and now u can shove it and the 25 dollars to it will send them a msg that there marketing is garagbe to next time so more value to costomers

just bought viewsat pro -- will have to disconnect coolsat 6000 -- so long any coolsat products .

Maybe all of you should check out TV Keys!! The only two "FTA" units up right now are SonicView and COOLSAT!!! Gee, where is the ViewSat?? OK, so I will admit that Coolsat hasn't exactly tickeled my funnybone lately but dudes, SONICVIEW ROCKS!!!

OK, so they just removed Coolsat from the list and added ViewSat .... but there still aren't any new files connected to the ViewSat link!!

I'm using my CW 6OO P for now ....my Coolsat 5K is waiting for a convertion via " J-tag " maybe Viewsat or Skyview...for now all this is only a rumor.

So what system should I buy? Some years ago I was told to buy a coolsat Which I did now what???If coolsat is dead that's ok but what next anyone have any answers.

I just bought a coolsat 7100, I will stay with this company as long as they are supported, 2yrs with the 5k, save 2200 dollars on cable bills, why would I change? They have the best picture and EPG, needed to upgrade anyways.

aren't you guys missing the point by not getting HD models of any brand? next year, only digital will be broadcasted so your new FTAs will not even work!!

I didn't think that digital necessarily equals HD. Is what George says true? Some one with more knowledge than me please shed some wisdom. (That would be just about anybody on this forum).
